Here Are The Sales Projections For Gucci Mane's "Everybody Looking"

How much does Gucci's comeback measure up to in sales? Gucci Mane has Everybody Looking with the release of his new album, but does he have everybody buying? Judging by the initial sales projections, he's got a fairly solid number of spectators opening their wallets. According to Hits Daily Double, Guwop is set to move 69,000-74,000 units of his new album, including streams, making it 45-50,000 in pure sales. These days, that's certainly nothing to scoff at. It's within the same ballpark of his 2009 album, The State Vs. Radric Davis, which sold 89,000 first week (which, to be fair, was before streaming came into the equation). It's expected to debut at #2 behind (you guessed it) Drake's VIEWS. Of course, we won't have any official figure until later in the week, so if you're looking for Wop to do numbers this week, make sure to grab the LP on iTunes.

New York Knicks Sign Amar'e Stoudemire So He Can Retire As A Knick

"Once a Knick always a Knick" The New York Knicks have officially signed Amar'e Stoudemire, but only as a technicality so that he could retire as a member of the Knicks. Not the Phoenix Suns, the team that he was with for his first 8 seasons and experienced the best years of his career with. The New York Knicks. The six-time All Star (five of which were as a member of the Suns) made the announcement today in which he said his heart has remained in the Big Apple and proclaimed, "Once a Knick, always a Knick." Stoudemire played a crucial role in bringing the Knicks somewhat into relevance back in 2010 which led to them landing Carmelo Anthony via trade, but there's no denying that this is a very bizarre scenario considering most remember his best years as a dominant force for the Phoenix Suns.

Tink Reveals Cover Art For "Winter's Diary 4" Mixtape

Tink reveals she's working on "Winter's Diary 4." Tink has been relatively quiet this summer, save for her single with Jahlil Beats, "Count It Up," we haven't heard from the talented singer-slash-rapper very much. It looks like that's because she's been working on something-- a new mixtape for her Winter Diary series. The series might be cold weather-themed, but the last installment, Winter's Diary 3, impacted last summer. There's no release date announced yet for Winter's Diary 4, although Tink did hashtag "August" on Instagram, so we can assume it'll arrive that month. She also unveiled the artwork with her announcement tweet. The Timbaland co-signed artist wrote on twitter, "Winter's Diary 4 is on the way. #Therapy."

Miami Police Shoot Unarmed Black Man Caring For Autistic Patient

Behavioral therapist Charles Kinsey was caring for an autistic man holding a toy truck when a cop opened fire. On Monday afternoon, North Miami police officers responded to 911 call asserting that a man was in the street holding a gun and threatening to kill himself. When they arrived on the scene, they found a 23-year-old autistic man holding a toy truck who had wandered outside a nearby mental healthy center his 47-year-old caretaker, Charles Kinsey. Kinsey obeyed police orders to lie down. He raised his hands his hands in the air and urged his patient to do the same. Kinsey assured the cops that he and his patient were both unarmed and pleaded for them not to fire. When the patient remained sitting cross-legged, an officer opened fire with his assault rifle, striking Kinsey once in the leg. Kinsey told reporters that when he asked the officer why he had shot him, the cop responded, “I don’t know.” Kinsey was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. “He throws his hands up in the air and says, ‘Don’t shoot me.’ They say lie on the ground, so he does,” Kinsey’s attorney Hilton Napoleon said Wednesday. “He’s on his back with his hands in the air trying to convince the other guy to lie down. It doesn’t make any sense.”

Adidas Debuts Derrick Rose's New Signature Sneaker, The D Rose 7

Inspired by the Great Chicago Fire of 1871? The official unveiling of Derrick Rose's 7th signature sneaker with Adidas, the D Rose 7, was largely overshadowed by last night's coverage of the Air Jordan 31. Ironically, none of the four initial colorways that were revealed have any hits of orange and blue, but there are plenty of "Bulls" inspired pairs. If you've been living under a rock all Summer, this is worth noting because Derrick Rose plays for the New York Knicks now. Adidas' VP of Global Design, and the Knicks' point guard addressed this issue at the unveiling of his 7th signature sneaker last night: “For each D Rose signature shoe, we focus on a very specific element of storytelling behind what inspires Derrick on and off the court,” said Brian Foresta, vice president of Global Design, adidas Basketball. “With the D Rose 7, we’re ensuring that Derrick’s hometown is never far from him on and off the court. His perseverance and passion to rise above every challenge is what makes him special, so we focused on bringing that to life.” “Chicago’s always been my home and this shoe represents the city that made me the man I am today. From how I play the game, how I live my life and how it’s prepared me for my next step in New York,” said Rose. “It’s the perfect tribute to the city and fans that helped raise and support me. It’s built for my game and gives me an added incentive knowing that I’m carrying my city with me on every play.” In fact, the shoes are actually inspired by the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. It never ceases to amaze me how far brands will go in order to find some inspiration for a pair of sneakers. Next, Damian Lillard's signature shoe will be a tribute to Lewis and Clark's expedition of the Pacific Northwest and their cultural impact in Portland during 1805. Getting back on track though, the Adidas D Rose 7 will be hitting retailers in the "Solar Red" colorway on August 11th for $160. Additional pairs like the "Smoke Gray," "Hydration," and "White/Black/Red" will be scattered throughout August, September and October.

Boosie Badazz: Baton Rouge Violence Won't Stop Until Killer Cops Are Convicted

The Baton Rouge rap hero speaks on today's shooting that killed three police officers in his hometown. He fears that the violence will only continue until the officers who have killed black civilians are tried and convicted. The city of Baton Rouge has been in anguish ever since the police killing of Alton Sterling. Today, the Louisiana capital was struck with more tragedy, as a gunman went on a rampage that killed three Baton Rouge police officers and injured three others. The suspect, whom has been identified as Gavin Eugene Long of Kansas City, Missouri, has been killed. He was an ex-Marine, and today was reportedly his 29th birthday. One of the biggest celebrities to come out of Baton Rouge, Boosie Badazz, has shared his thoughts on the madness that has recently transpired in his hometown. Speaking to TMZ, Boosie explains how the killing of Alton Sterling, whose funeral was held yesterday, has struck anger in most everyone he has talked to in Baton Rouge, both young an old. He says that both police and civilians have found themselves in a precarious situation, and he believes that the climate will only continue to get more hostile until officers like those involved in the killing of Alton Sterling are held responsible and punished accordingly. "If that guy don't get indicted and sent to prison for life," says Boosie, "It's gonna be another one. It's gonna be another shooting."

Joe Budden Responds To Drake's Diss On French Montana's "No Shopping"

Joe Budden hits Drake with a crying Jordan meme after hearing the OVO boss' diss on French Montana's new single, "No Shopping." As promised, tonight's episode of OVO Sound Radio included the premiere of French Montana's new Drake-featuring single: "No Shopping." News of the collab first broke in May, when French Montana shared a brief snippet of the song, during which Drake can be heard beginning his verse by rapping, "Pump, pump it up." The line was presumed to be a shot at Joe Budden, who had recently given VIEWS a decidedly negative review on his podcast. Now that the full version of "No Shopping" is here, it's clear that the "Pump It Up" reference was no accident. Much of Drake's verse is directed at Budden, whom he denounces as a one-hit wonder. "You let me turn into the n*gga that you almost was," he raps. Drake doesn't mention Budden by name until toward the end of his verse, when he raps, "Last week, Budden runnin' in the room / This week sold 1.2." See the full lyrics of Drake's "No Shopping" verse at the bottom of the page. Judging by his recent tweets and retweets, Budden has heard "No Shopping," and he has already proclaimed himself to be the victor of the beef, clearly feeling that Drake's bars on the new French Montana single don't stand up to the two diss tracks he has already put out, starting at the end of last month with "Making a Murderer" and then another one, "Wake," less than a week later. Budden provided his first response to "No Shopping" by retweeting an image of a drained iPhone battery, suggesting that Drake's latest raps are the opposite of "Charged Up." He then posted another meme -- not exactly a creative one, but a successful effort nonetheless -- showing the crying Jordan face pasted onto the head of the OVO owl. Budden has since responded to a few of his followers who also agreed that Drake's "No Shopping" response was lackluster.

Fat Joe, Remy Ma & French Montana Have Another Single Coming

"All The Way Up" was just the beginning. Fat Joe and Remy Ma's "All The Way Up" is the surprise hit of the summer; a smash single that is both rooted in New York's history, and in touch with the current rap landscape. The French Montana-assisted track is still everywhere, particularly in NY, but Fat Joe has revealed in a new interview that he and Remy will be taking the same formula to the follow-up next month. "New single August 1st. It's called 'Looks Like I'm Cooking'. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Me, Remy, and French," he said. "We going out to Dubai to shoot the video next week. We're gonna be acting real ignorant in the desert, and look for some white tigers." The single, of course, is slated for Joe and Remy's upcoming collaborative album, Plata o Plomo, which should be on its way soon.

Multiple Police Officers Shot In Baton Rouge

Three officers have been killed and 3 others are wounded. 6 officers have reportedly been shot in Baton Rouge in an attack suspected to be have been carried out by mutiple gunmen at 10 AM Eastern time. CNN reports that 3 of the officers have died from their gunshot wounds, while the other three remain in hospital. One of the suspects is dead, while their may be two others who are still at large, according to authorities. The city has been experiencing tension between police and protesters following the killing of Alton Sterling last week, but there is no indication that this shooting is linked to that event. Police are reported to have received a call about a "suspicious person walking down Airline Highway with an assault rifle," this morning, according to a source close to CNN. When police arrived on the scene, shooting began. Further updates will be provided as details arrive

Kim Kardashian Calls Out Taylor Swift For Lying About "Famous" Lyrics

Kim Kardashian goes for Taylor Swift's neck in a new clip taken from a future episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." It took Taylor Swift a few years to forgive Kanye West after he famously mortified her at the 2009 VMAs, but until recently, it was thought that they were the best of friends. That was until Kanye released The Life of Pablo and namedropped Taylor on the lead single, "Famous," in a manner that many took to be offensive: "For all my Southside n*ggas that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous. Those are Ye's opening lines on the Rihanna-featuring single, and soon after they made headlines, he found himself back out of favor with America's favorite sweetheart. A few months ago, Ye admitted that the lyrics in question helped him emerge victorious in a long-winded bout with writer's block, though as the saga involving him, Taylor, and now his wife continues, he must be asking himself if asserting his sexual prowess over the pop luminary was really worth it. Of course, Kanye doesn't think he did anything wrong by mentioning Taylor in the vulgar lyric, just as he saw it necessary to include her naked likeness in a bed next to him, his wife, and a host of other nude celebrities in the new "Famous" video, which Taylor was supposedly "horrified" to see. Taylor's horror seems understandable, but Kanye (and Kim) don't feel that her reaction is authentic because they are still maintaining that she approved of the lyrics that fornicated her and Kanye in the first place. In her recent GQ cover story, Kim called out Taylor for "playing the victim," and she specifically took issue with Taylor's Album of the Year acceptance speech at this year's Grammys, during which she implicated Kanye as representative of a male-dominated industry that tries to crush the achievements of young women. Kim told the magazine that there's video evidence of Taylor approving of the infamous "Famous" lyric, and she disclosed that Taylor's lawyers had contacted Kanye in an effort to destroy said footage. Today, it has been revealed that Kim will elaborate on the "Famous" controversy on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." In a clip taken from an upcoming episode, Kim explains to Kourtney why she's defending Kanye against his blonde rival. She says that Taylor was supposed to use the Grammys as an opportunity to surprise the media by letting them know that she had cosigned "Famous" before its release, and she quotes Taylor as having said, "As soon as I get on that Grammy red carpet, I'm gonna tell all the press, like, 'I was in on it.'" "At this point, I really don't give a fuck," says an enraged Kim while dramatic music swells in the background, "So I'll do whatever to protect my husband." The gears in Kourtney's brain then churn at an alarming rate, as she offers her take on the whole situation: "I'm so glad that you said the truth." At the end of clip, Kim even suggests that Taylor helped Kanye "rewrite" the lyrics that have gotten him in so much trouble

Ty Dolla $ign Debuts "No Justice" Featuring Big TC

This is the second single off of Ty Dolla $ign's upcoming mixtape "Campaign." Ty Dolla $ign is gearing up to release his next mixtape Campaign. We’ve already heard the title track “Campaign” featuring Future, a prototypical turn up jam. We now have the second premiere from the tape, in the form of three Instagram videos that run consecutively into one another. “No Justice” features Ty Dolla $ign’s big brother Big TC, and is far more sobering than the first single. The video is a simple but powerful mix of up close video of Big TC and Ty Dolla singing (separately, as Big TC is still incarcerated), cut together with footage and images of the many, many people who have had their lives taken by police officers over the past few years.

Witness To Alton Sterling Killing Sues Police For Illegally Seizing Surveillance Footage

Abdullah Muflahi, who runs the store that Alton Sterling was killed outside of, has launched a lawsuit against the Baton Rouge Police Department. Abdullah Muflahi was a witness to the killing of Alton Sterling by Baton Rouge police last week, and was able to capture footage of the police violence on his phone. This footage was particularly important to the case, as it showed that Sterling was not holding a weapon at the time he was killed. In a new conversation with the Daily Beast, Muflahi has now launched a lawsuit against the city of Baton Rouge and its police department, suggesting that the officers over-stepped their boundaries when it came to confiscating his surveillance video. The lawsuit, filed Monday, says that Officer Blane Salamoni, who fired the fatal shots, ordered fellow officers to obtain the "entire store security system" just after Sterling had been killed. While Muflahi claims he requested to be in the store when the footage was taken, and also asked for a warrant, the officers locked him in their vehicle and proceeded to confiscate the footage from the stores security cameras, as well as taking the Muflahi's phone. The lawsuit states Muflahi was locked in the car for the next four hours, only being let out to use the bathroom, though he was actually forced to relieve himself alongside the building instead. His lawyer also points out inconsistencies with the times listed on the warrant. Muflahi is suing Officers Blane Salamoni, Timothy Ballard, Lt. Robert Cook, the City of Baton Rouge and Police Chief Carl Dabadi for "false arrest, false imprisonment, the illegal taking and seizing of his security system, illegally commandeering his business." Black Lives Matter activists have continued to protest in Baton Rouge over the days following the killing of Alton Sterling

Memphis Bleek Reportedly Files For Bankruptcy

Memphis Bleek reportedly only has a $100 bucks to his name. It appears Jay Z’s former protégé & right hand man Memphis Bleek isn’t big pimpin’ anymore and is allegedly broke. According to a report by Bossip, Bleek has filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy after revealing he has just $100 in cash to his name. The former Roc Nation rapper, who’s real name is Malik Cox, apparently filed the petition back on March 14th at the US Federal Court in New Jersey. He reportedly claims his assets are in the ballpark of $274k, which include his Jersey home, Chevy impala & wedding rings among other things, but his liabilities total near $385K. He also states that he has $0 in his Chase bank account, $100 cash in his pocket, and owns a company that’s worth absolutely nothing called “Get Low Touring.” Bossip reports the bankruptcy is pending at the moment while Bleek figures out a plan to pay back his creditors. They also obtained a copy of the actual asset & liability document, which you can see for yourself in the gallery above. Coincidentally this week, Forbes just released their highest paid couples list as well, with Beyonce & Jay taking the crown making a combined $107.5 million in 2016. You think Jay could help out the homie and toss a little somethin-somethin’ Bleek's way. Would you?

The Game's Son Starts GoFundMe In Support Of Arkansas Police Officer Tommy Norman

The Game's son, Harlem, starts a GoFundMe page to raise money for the charity work of Arkansas Police Officer Tommy Norman. Started earlier today, the campaign has already raised over $20,000 more than its original goal of $10,000. Many rappers took part in protests following the tragic wave of violence that ensued last week, beginning with the police killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, and continuing with an attack on a peaceful protest in Dallas on Thursday night that resulted in the murders of five police officers. The Game has stepped up to demand change, and he has done so in a peaceful manner, approaching police with the aim of reconciliation rather than contempt. On Friday (July 8), he and Snoop Dogg hosted a peaceful all-male march to the LAPD headquarters. Their intent was to "erase the fear of one another" that stands between police and minorities, and they even met with Police Chief Charlie Back and other top-ranking LAPD officers. It's now clear that The Game has been instructing his oldest son, Harlem, to recognize that the opportunity for goodwill exists within the police community, as Harlem has created a GoFundMe page for Arkansas police officer Tommy Norman in order to help the officer sustain his philanthropic efforts to the predominantly black community he serves in North Little Rock. Game shared Harlem's GoFundMe initiative through an Instagram post earlier today. He explained how he had talked to his son about the difference between good cops and bad ones, which motivated Harlem to try to find an example of a good one, eventually discovering the charitable efforts of Officer Norman. Harlem then had the idea of starting a GoFundMe page so that Norman can continue to "stuff his trunk with toys, goodies, food, and other things to help him continue contributing to the kids and people in Little Rock, Arkansas." Harlem's goal was to raise $10,000 for Officer Norman -- an amount that the GoFundMe drive has already achieved. As of 8pm on Sunday night (July 10), the "a good son for a good cop" fundraising effort has already raised over $32,000.

Future Announces New "Forever Or NEVER" Mixtape

Future announces his plans to drop "Forever or NEVER," which will be his first tape since "Purple Reign." After taking a hiatus upon inundating the game with two excellent projects in the first month of the year, Future has begun to tighten his grasp on Summer Sixteen. These days, there are only a couple of artists whose releases are greeted with a similar level of anticipation, especially when it comes to mixtapes. He's basically already dropped one solid project this summer with DJ Esco's Project E.T., which contained beauties like "Married to the Game," "Too Much Sauce," and "Who." He has now announced his next tape, Forever or NEVER, which will be dedicated to his Freebandz team and label. It's unclear if Future will be the lead artist on Forever or NEVER, or if it will be a collaborative release between all of the artists in the Freebandz Gang. Regardless, it seems that Future is spearheading the project, and thus every track should have his stamp of approval. Yesterday's "Havin It," a Zaytoven-produced collab between Future and his Freebandz artist Maceo, could be the first preview of Forever or NEVER. The announcement comes shortly after Zaytoven revealed that Beast Mode 16, the follow-up to his and Future's beloved joint mixtape from January 2015, is almost complete and that the tape will include at least one collaboration with Future's "Summer Sixteen" tourmate, Drake. If Future's tweets are to be trusted, then Forever or NEVER will arrive before Beast Mode 16. If Project ET, Forever orNEVER, and Beast Mode 16 all touch down in the same summer, then the whole game will experience a Freebandz takeover. Be warned: "If u lowkey hating on yo homie or your homies, then this tape not for u." Right now, the Freebandz Gang consists of Future, Young Scooter, Zoey Dollaz, Doe Boy, Maceo, Casino, Test, and more. Producer Metro Boomin, an inseparable part of Future's current success, is also part of the team.

Drake Shares Eulogy For Megan Flores, The Young Cancer Patient To Whom "VIEWS" Is Dedicated

Drake and Rihanna pay tribute to their devoted young fan Megan Flores, who recently lost her battle with cancer. Yesterday (July 10), Drake revealed that Megan Flores, the adolescent girl to whom he dedicated his latest album, VIEWS, had lost her battle with cancer. Megan, known to fellow fans as OVO Megan, considered herself to be Drake's biggest admirer, and earlier this year, the Make-A-Wish Foundation set up a meeting between Drake and Megan in the Miami hospital in which she was being treated. Drake had been in Miami as a special guest on Rihanna's "ANTI" tour, and Rihanna also came to the hospital to meet Megan and pose for pictures with her and Drake. Rihanna, too, paid tribute to Megan on social media upon hearing of her death.

Dwyane Wade Has Informed The Chicago Bulls He Is Going To Sign With Them

D-Wade is going back to his hometown. After 13 seasons with the Miami Heat, Dwyane Wade is moving on. Wade has informed the Chicago Bulls that he will be signing with them, despite the fact that Miami (and Denver) had more money to offer. Early reports suggest the deal with Chicago is for 2-years, $47 million. In order to pull off this move, the Bulls will need to unload some contracts and they're working to complete deals to trade Jose Calderon and Mike Dunleavy to help clear space for D-Wade. Even at 34 years old, Wade averaged 19 points, 4.6 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game for the Heat last season and now he'll get to play alongside one of the best two-way guards in the game, Jimmy Butler. And Rajon Rondo. The 13-year vet grew up in Chicago but has played his professional entire career in Miami, making 12 All-Star games and winning three NBA titles.

Khloe Kardashian & Trey Songz Reportedly "Seen Making Out"

Khloe Kardashian and Trey Songz reportedly got hot and heavy at Drai's night club. Khloe Kardashian is a single, independent lady, and with that power comes the pleasure of doing whatever the fuck she wants. Since her split from Lamar Odom (from whom she filed for a divorce for the second time this past May), she's been spotted with many a man, be it athlete or hip-hop artist (there doesn't seem to be much of a chance for anyone outside of those two careers). At the end of May, rumors began to fly concerning her relationship with Odell Beckham Jr. The latest man to get caught up in the constantly-churning Kardashian rumor mill is r'n'b singer Trey Songz. E! News reports that during Trey's Fourth of July performance at Drai's night club in Las Vegas, Khloe showed support by chilling in the VIP area. Beyond that, the two were reportedly "seen making out." Yup. Khloe was also spotted on Trey Songz's Snapchats, so you know it's real. We'll keep you posted as this story develops.

Stream Fredo Santana's New Album "Fredo Mafia"

Fredo Santana's "Fredo Mafia" is out now. Yes, yes, technically this is a late post, but that's only because Fredo Santana had neglected to upload his new album to Soundcloud until now. The rapper dropped off Fredo Mafia on July 1st, last Friday, following up the leak of a collaboration with rapping partner Chief Keef, the pro-violence "Gun Violence." The full album, now available to stream via Soundcloud
