Ray J Says Chris Brown's Arrest Is "Wrong And Sad"

"I can't say what's truthful or not because I've never seen that happen and I was right there." On Tuesday, a long police standoff at Chris Brown's L.A. home following reports that he had pulled a gun on a woman ended with the singer being arrested. Brown was released on $250,000 bail today, and while he has yet to make a statement following his arrest, his lawyer has stressed that the "allegations against him are demonstrably false," while Ray J, who was present at the time of the alleged threat, has also spoken up on the events. "My job is to just say that Chris is 100... meaning he's a good dude," Ray J told Entertainment Tonight, going on to question alleged victim Baylee Curran's story. "I think it was wrong and sad, and it hurts my feelings that you work so hard to try to get better, and a small little length of a story that you don't even know is even real or not can affect you this much without even getting the facts." However, Ray J was hesitant to go on record to dispute Curran's claims that Brown pulled a gun on her, before a car began to follow her when she left the home. "I can't say what's truthful or not because I've never seen that happen and I was right there... So I don't want to comment." Later on, he told the host, "Everything you're saying is ridiculous to me."

Kanye West's Video Choreographer Explains The "Fade" Video

Jae Blaze explains Kanye's bizarre new video starring Teyana Taylor. Kanye West has taken the weirdness of his music videos to a new level since he released The Life of Pablo. "Fade," which he debuted last night at the VMAs, comprises of Teyana Taylor doing a hypnotizing dance routine in a sweaty thong than turning into a naked lion alongside Iman Shumpert. Pitchfork spoke with "Fade" choreographer and artistic director Jae Blaze to attempt to elucidate her and Kanye's vision. The end product of the video, in her estimation was "absolute black magic." "Kanye, I can't stop saying it, he's just a creative genius," Blaze said. "When he came in, he told us, 'I like this particular move, but I want to take it to the next level. Show me what you can do on top of this move.' He has something specific on his mind, as a visionary. And we have to translate that onto Teyana's body." "Fade" immediately drew comparisons to the stylish 1983 film "Flashdance." Blaze seemed to confirm that 'Flashdance' served as an inspiration for the video: "You know what the funny thing is? Everyone is just referencing 'Flashdance,' and that is a great conversation to be in because the movie was epic... I mean, she just took 'Flashdance' to 2016, if you want to put it like that. She brought it to a generation of some people who many not have even seen the movie before! She made it relevant and current right now. Her body is amazing. Her dancing was amazing. She's just a beast. All in all, it just came together really well." Blaze also clarified the most confusing part of the video, in which Teyana becomes a lioness. "I think the vision behind that was how amazing Teyana is, and how she's been on the rise, and how she's working, and you are now seeing her blossom into this fierce lioness, this fierce cat," Blaze said. "She has worked her way into that, and she's in a great position right now in her life. She has her family. She's being held down by her amazing husband. She has a beautiful daughter. You know, the lioness always protects her baby. I think it really is about her coming into her fierceness. And that's where she is in her life right now. She is blossoming."

Lil Wayne's Closes Lil Weezyana Fest By Yelling "Fuck Cash Money"

Lil Wayne disses Cash Money at Lil Weezyana fest. While Birdman has expressed interest in repairing his relationship with Lil Wayne, possibly because he is the defendant in Wayne's outstanding $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money, it is quite apparent that Wayne doesn't feel the same way. At the end of his performance at this weekend's Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans, Wayne shared a parting message with the crowd. “Before I get out this motherfucker," he said, “I want to say three more important words: fuck Cash Money.” This is not the first time Wayne has publicly uttered these words or some variant. His lawsuit against Cash Money is currently on hold, and he seems quite eager to get on with it so he can finally exact on the label to whom he is still signed.

Did Kid Cudi Take A Subtle Shot At Jhene Aiko & Big Sean?

It appears Kid Cudi has some choice words for Jhene Aiko & Big Sean following her divorce with his long-time producer & good friend, Dot Da Genius. It looks like Kid Cudi is coming to the defense of his good friend & producer Dot Da Genius following the news that surfaced yesterday that he & former wife, Jhene Aiko, filed for divorce recently. Taking to Twitter Friday afternoon, Cudi decided to send a little jab at the Twenty88 duo & subtweet the following.. “The funny thing is, we aint sweatin these bum bitches and these corn ball ass niggas,” Kid Cudi said. “We too busy makin better music.” The tweet came in response to another twitter user asking him about an old post he made dedicated to Jhene back in 2014. It read, “@JheneAiko if u hurt him ill kill u.” The divorce from Jhene & Dot Da Genius shouldn’t come much as a surprise since she's been spotted getting close with fellow Twenty88 partner Big Sean over the past few months, even sharing a kiss on stage at the Power 106’s Powerhouse event. But Cudi apparently ain't having it, and will "ether anyone for his family."

Young Buck Reportedly Sentenced To 7 Months In Prison

Young Buck is said to have violated the conditions of his August release. After being released from jail on August 1st, Young Buck has been sentenced to 7 months in prison after violating the conditions of his release, according to Nashville Scene. The rapper was arrested in July after allegedly kicking down his then-girlfriend's door and threatening to burn her house down, itself a violation of previous conditions from 2013 charges. After serving jail time for that incident, he was released at the beginning of August on the condition that he would not have any contact -- direct or indirect -- with the woman he threatened, but after a reported 100 or more attempts to get in touch with her, he has been hit with a 7-month prison sentence. An excerpt from the U.S. Attorney's office in reference to Buck's sentencing can be found below. On July 20, 2016, another of Brown’s ex-girlfriends obtained an Ex Parte Order of Protection in state court and arrest warrants were issued against Brown based on an incident in which Brown wanted to get certain property out of that woman’s house and was told that the property was not there. He then kicked in the door of the residence and threatened that woman. Brown was arrested for violating his supervision, and was detained pending a detention hearing. After that hearing, the federal magistrate determined Brown could be released pending the final hearing on this incident and the previous March 2016 incident, but ordered Brown not to have any direct or indirect contact with this victim. Brown was released under those conditions on August 1, 2016. After being released on those conditions, Brown violated the conditions of his release by contacting and attempting to contact that woman over 100 times in violation of the Magistrate’s release order.
